Join PRIME TIME™ on Friday, November 3rd for an afternoon of devilish dining and sinister storytelling as actor Kirk Simpson brings to life the ‘Master of the Macabre’ in his ghoulish performance of Poe: Tales of Fear and Suspense. Simpson’s mesmerizing theatricality as the dark and enigmatic Poe will have lovers of theater on the edge of their seats.
Edgar Allen Poe’s name conjures up images of black cats, premature burials, forbidden crypts and crumbling old houses where terrifying secrets dwell. Almost 175 years after his death, his prose and poetry continue to frighten, influence and inspire writers, composers, artists, poets and readers all over the world. Despite a mixed reputation during his lifetime, Poe is now considered one of America’s greatest writers.
