It’s a well-known fact that New England has the most magical fall foliage in the country! Celebrate Autumn with PRIME TIME™ on Thursday, October 12th as we embark on a ‘foliage voyage’ in search of the most stunning colors of the season! This year’s journey takes us to Southern Worcester County for a narrated boat tour of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (aka Webster Lake).

Welcome aboard the Indian Princess Historic Paddle Wheeler – a modern-day replica of the grand riverboats that plied the Mississippi River in the late 19th century. Today, we’ll take a 90-minute narrated cruise on the largest natural lake in the state and the longest name of any geographic location in the United States. Sit back and relax on one of two decks, the open-air upper deck or the climate -controlled lower deck and admire the last leaves of fall as they change from green to crimson red, pumpkin orange and goldenrod yellow.

Following our ‘foliage voyage’, we’ll enjoy lunch at Samuel Slater’s Restaurant overlooking beautiful Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. Meal choices are Baked Cod with bread crumb topping, Chicken Picatta or Steak Tips. After dessert, we’ll reboard our coach and make a stop at a local orchard for a ‘treat’ before heading home.

Pull out your autumn sweaters and see why New England is known for its vibrant foliage, drawing leaf-peepers every year! Trip cost is $119 for PRIME TIME™ Travel members and $139 for your guest. Price includes:

  • Roundtrip Transportation
  • 90 Minute Narrated Foliage Cruise
  • Lunch at Samuel Slater’s Restaurant
  • Local Orchard Stop
  • Taxes and Gratuities
  • … and escorted by Bank personnel!
